Vincenzo Carbone

Vincenzo Carbone is a lawyer and Adjunct Professor of International Tax Law and Customs Law at the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT). He also teaches Tax Law at Unitelma Sapienza University.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Law of International Relations and has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Bologna, the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria), and the Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (Brazil).

His research focuses on European Union customs law, international taxation, and international trade law, with particular emphasis on customs sanctions, customs compliance, and the protection of the European Union’s financial interests.

He provides legal advice to local and national public authorities and serves on the scientific and editorial boards of several international law journals. He is also Director of the Centre for Studies on Taxation and International Finance (CeSFFI).
