CORE (Customs Operations for Risk Evaluation) is a research project dedicated to the study of customs controls and risk assessment within the European Union, with particular attention to customs undervaluation and misdeclaration of origin.
By combining comparative legal research and international scientific cooperation, the project aims to examine selected aspects of customs enforcement and to contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms designed to protect the European Union’s financial interests.
The project activities include research, scientific dissemination and the organisation of international seminars involving scholars and experts from different European countries. Research outputs and information on project activities will be progressively made available through this website.
